My name is Dalida Innes. Welcome to my website, travel and photography are my passion, discovering new places, photographing  various forms of wildlife in their natural habitat is always a challenge, actually I spend more time observing their behaviours, this is what I love about them.

Feel free to check my images, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did to take them.

Searching for the snow leopard

Spiti Valley

Last February, I went to Spiti Valley. Situated in the cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. This was my second trip with the snow leopard but not the last to India, in the search of the snow leopard.Lucky enough this year, I have been able to see 7 snow leopards and this, is one of them, an old male that just made a kill and was relaxing until he decided to move on.This old snow leopard that have been well documented by a team of National Geographic, died due to his injuries during the hunt he succeeded just one day before I capture this unique moment with him. Thanks for watching and sharing.
